Goat & Sheep Farmers Welfare Association was founded in 2014. It is the first non-profit organization representing members from most of the 29 states of India. The Association is comprised of professionals & planners, scientists, entrepreneurs, commercial goat or sheep breeders & farmers, etc. associated with small bovine sector across India.In the absence of a common platform,the sector has remained ignored in the past.With an intention to provide technical support to producer farmers and to provide boost to the sector,some existing commercial farmers, professionals and technocrats came forward to form a national level body to address these issues.
