Our Hierarchy

The organizational hierarchy of the Goat & Sheep Farmers Welfare Association is structured in a multilayered format to efficiently manage its operations, implement its mission, and achieve its goals and objectives. The hierarchy consists of the following key positions:

Advisory Board:

Comprised of Directors of the ICAR-CIRG & ICAR-CSWRI, subject matter experts, advisors, and consultants who provide guidance and expertise to the organization on specific issues, projects, or initiatives. The Board offer strategic advice and recommendations to the Central Executive Committee and management team.

This hierarchical structure ensures clear lines of authority, accountability, and communication within the organization, enabling it to effectively carry out its mission and serve the needs of goat and sheep farmers and the broader community.

Central Executive Committee (CEC):

The CEC is responsible for setting strategic direction, policy formulation, and overall decision-making. It comprises experienced professionals, industry leaders, and representatives from diverse backgrounds, including goat and sheep farmers, researchers, professionals, and industry experts.

Mr. Deepak Patidar (President)

He is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the organization. He chairs meetings of the Central Executive Committee and represents the organization in external forums and engagements.

Mr. Mohd. Aslam Khan (Vice – President)

He assists the President in fulfilling his duties. He assumes the responsibilities of the President in his absence.

Mr. Upneet Rajorhia (Secretary-General)

He is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the organization. He is directly responsible for implementing the decisions and directives of the Central Executive Committee. He oversees the various departments and programs of the organization. He oversees the preparation of regular financial reports by the Chartered Accountancy Firm appointed by the Central Executive Committee, highlighting the organization's financial performance and position. He ensures that budget allocations align with the organization's strategic priorities and goals.

Mr. Ajay Parihar (Joint Secretary)

He assists the Secretary-General in fulfilling his duties. He assumes the responsibilities of the Secretary-General in his absence.

Mr. Mohammad Rizwan (Treasurer)

He develops annual budgets in collaboration with the Secretary-General and relevant department heads. He maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. He oversees the receipt, disbursement, and management of funds, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. He monitors the cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate funds are available to meet operational needs and financial obligations.

Mr. Laxman D. Takale (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Subhash Baira (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Anand Bhave (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Anusuma Boro (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Ashish K. Singh (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Hemant Mathur (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Kalyan Koly (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Krishna Kumar A.N. (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Mr. Naeem Qureshi (Member)

He assists the CEC in shaping the organization's strategic direction, overseeing its operational success, and ensuring the fulfilment of the mission and goals of GSFWA

Dr Anupam Krishna Dixit (Nominated Member CIRG)

As a nominated member of ICAR–CIRG, he is responsible for ensuring the alignment of the association's activities and initiatives with the policies, priorities, and objectives of the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying and ICAR. He also provides insights into government policies, programs, and regulations relevant to the goat and sheep farming sector. He assists in the development of advocacy strategies to promote the interests of goat and sheep farmers address policy challenges and facilitate communication and collaboration between the association and relevant government agencies, departments, and ministries.

Dr Satyavir Singh Dangi (Nominated Member CSWRI)

As a nominated member of ICAR–CSWRI, he is responsible for ensuring the alignment of the association's activities and initiatives with the policies, priorities, and objectives of the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying and ICAR. He also provides insights into government policies, programs, and regulations relevant to the goat and sheep farming sector. He assists in the development of advocacy strategies to promote the interests of goat and sheep farmers address policy challenges and facilitate communication and collaboration between the association and relevant government agencies, departments, and ministries.

Program Managers:

Each department or program is headed by a manager responsible for its planning, implementation, and evaluation. Departments may include Advocacy and Policy, Capacity Building and Training, Finance and Administration, Research and Innovation, Networking and Collaboration, and Awareness and Advocacy.

Staff and Volunteers:

Comprise the operational workforce of the organization, including administrative staff, project coordinators, trainers, researchers, and outreach workers. Volunteers may also play a significant role in supporting various activities and initiatives of the organization.
